About Us

Blue Handle Publishing

About the Company

Blue Handle Publishing began when founder, writer, and CEO Charles D’Amico ran intomultiple issues trying to get his Neil Baggio suspense series published. The accomplished entrepreneur realized how much the game is stacked against the writer. He knew there were self-publishing options but instead wanted to learn about the industry, grow within it, and help repeat the process for other authors.

Blue Handle launched in June 2020 and has had an immediate impact on the publishing industry. D’Amico and fellow Amarillo author Andrew J Brandt have won Pencraft and Readers’ Favorite awards, and BHP has signed several noteworthy authors. Among them are an award-winning playwright, an NFL coach, the great-nephew of an infamous Italian gangster, and an international rock star. Additionally, Blue Handle is forging relationships with top film and television production firms with offices in Los Angeles and New York.

Whether it’s their author-centric approach to royalty and investment, their focus on branding, or their commitment to helping authors of all types and levels through its Book Puma Editorial Services, Blue Handle is committed to reinventing how authors get the support and tools needed not just to get published, but to thrive in a rapidly evolving industry.
